Dale Carnegie

Dale Carnegie courses have been around for years.  They offer three different seminars specifically relating to public speaking courses.  One is to get rid of the fear of public speaking, another is how to create effective presentations, and the third is more on how to take your presentations to the next level.

These courses are solid, but not being taught be people who are successful professional speakers.  The Dale Carnegie business is a franchise like Subway.  The cost of getting a franchise is $20,000.  So you’re being taught be people who bought their way into having a speaking business, not by people who have made a successful career from speaking first.  The teachers are simply teaching you from a power point that’s supplied to them.

Would only recommend if you’re very, very green and need to get started somewhere.
