The Pros and Cons to a Motivational Speaking Course
I have worked for so long to become a professional motivational speaker, but I can not seem to get a name for myself. I decided I would try taking a motivational speaker home study course to see if I could better myself in order to have a little more success with my speaking. I found The Motivational Speaker Academy Success Blueprint by Richard Andrews.
What was great about this motivational speaker home study course was the help with understanding mistakes and it helped me find my target audience. I was making a lot of mistakes with my business. I thought that tricks and gimmicks would keep the audience interested, but this course helped me realize I was losing my speaking style amongst all the silly games. I also did not realize how important it was for me to have my business on a social networking page and other technological advantages. I was being too broad with who I wanted to talk to. This course helped me narrow down my target audience, and figure out how to appeal to them.
What could have been better about this motivational speaker home study course was that it took too long, it was a little confusing about body language, and it said I would not need anything else, but I needed more than just the course. I did not like the fact that they only sent me a lesson once a week. I had already put a lot of time in to my business, and I wanted to have this course finished quickly. This course has a section about body language, but I thought I was already doing everything right in that area. I did not agree with all the things they said were affective with body language. I put a lot of time and money in to my business, so I definitely needed more than just this course to get up and running.
This course helped me learn a lot of techniques to become successful. I never thought taking a motivational speaker home study course would work so well for me. Even though there were a few things I did not like, I would still recommend this program to those searching for help with their motivational speaking business.
